Part-Time & Full Time Special Needs Facilitator    

Airdrie Foundation 4 Early Intervention is a growing program. We are currently looking for Facilitators.

As a member of our  team, you will work with children, families and preschool staff to facilitate each child’s learning potential. Within a multi-disciplinary team, you will support children and families to promote each child’s individual needs.

Your Responsibilities Would Include:

  • Working with F4’s teams & families to develope functional, developmentally appropriate goals for children and their families

  • Providing daily support to facilitate each child’s learning potential

  • Completing daily paperwork, including notes, data collection and submitting bi-weekly payroll time sheets

  • Implementing strategies to facilitate learning, behaviour, emotional regulation and motor development outlined in the child’s individualized program goals.

Your Qualifications Must Include:

  • Although a degree or diploma in a related field is preferred, experience and/or courses  in behavior, learning, child development, and other related education will be considered

  • More than six months of experience working with children and their families

  • Knowledge of home and preschool goal based activities would be an asset

  • Basic computer skills

  • Current Alberta driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle is an asset

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills

  • Most importantly, a strong desire to be exceptional and contribute within your new role
